Marian has been a resident of Jamestown for 34 years and is married to Bill, a Jamestown native.

Marian was in the advertising business for 15 years before entering real estate. Marian has been a Realtor for 34 years. She is a member of the Newport County Board of Realtors, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Marian was a member of the original Beavertail Lighthouse Committee and is presently Chairman of the Jamestown Board of Canvassers. Marian was recently appointed to the "Help America Vote Act" Advistory Committee by Governor Carcieri.
